The College of Engineering is the largest college on the Texas A&M campus with more than 18,000+ engineering students enrolled in 14 departments.

The college is consistently ranked among the nation’s top public programs-ninth in undergraduate programs and seventh in graduate programs among public institutions according to U.S. News & World Report. It is also among the top universities in the number of National Merit Scholars, nationally recognized faculty and funded research.

According to a 2011 report by the American Society for Engineering Education, the college is third in the nation in undergraduate enrollment, and sixth in graduate enrollment. The same report ranks the Look College seventh in engineering bachelor’s degrees granted, sixth for the number of Hispanics and fourth for the number of women granted degrees. The college is 10th nationally for the number of doctoral degrees granted and 13th for master’s degrees granted.
